Dare to be Different Day
Yesterday was Dare to Be Different Day in recognition of Autism Awareness Week. We had fun dressing up in all sorts of different ways!
Room 11 spent time thinking about what makes us all different and unique. We read the story "Only One You" by Linda Krantz and wrote acrostic poems about what makes us special. We know that it is these differences that makes the world an interesting place and at Reremoana School it's okay to be a little different! Check out our collaborative art piece "Dare to be Different" based on the story.
